P.S. 1 is a great museum if you’re willing to venture out of Manhattan one subway stop to Long Island City, Queens. Oh, P.S. is the designation for “public school.”  In New York, the public schools often have numbers, e.g. P.S. 1.  This museum actually was a school in the past.
